The Maritime Aquarium - Norwalk, Connecticut

Connecticut tourism offers you a chance to see the animals of the Long Island Sound with a trip to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. The city built the aquarium to help educate the visitors about the animals that live in the Sound and to preserve the history of those animals for you to see (and in some cases feel).
There are harbor seals, river otter, frogs, sand tiger sharks and more for you to see. You can also touch the green crab, horseshoe crab and sea star in their display. This should be an interesting stop on your trip through the aquarium, how often do you get to touch the animals in a zoo?
The tour will take about 90 minutes in the aquarium section. Then you will probably want to go to the IMAX and see one of the films on the huge screen that will have you feeling like you are right there with the animals!
